Tottenham confirm double Kulusevski and Bentancur deal

Antonio Conte has been waiting the entire month for Tottenham Hotspur to deliver him some reinforcements during the winter transfer window, despite his repeated calls for better options in recent weeks, yet the club has now announced the signings of Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur.

In a statement released on Monday afternoon, Juventus announced that both players had to Spurs, Bentancur on a permanent deal and the Swedish forward on loan.

Kulusevski arrived in Turin as an emerging star from Parma, via Atalanta, costing 35 million euros, yet he has failed to establish as a starter, whereas Bentancur has found himself less of a key player than during Massimiliano Allegri's first spell in charge.

Spurs have signed Kulusevski on loan for 18 months with a purchase option valued at around 40 million euros, whilst the Uruguayan midfielder has been signed immediately for a fee of 20 million euros.

Spurs have completed these two moves after missing out on Adama Traore, whilst they have trimmed their own squad on deadline day by allowing Dele Alli to sign for Everton on a permanent transfer.
